Never taught to cook or clean wow......just because they know how to cook an clean and you have someone do it for you make those women any less to have the ability to have access to education. They know how to cook and clean and you know how to read but i bet you they probably have way more self respect cause they kno what its like to trully survive your message got loss sweetie. But back to the topic Trully at hand this story is trully insane i didnt even kno that injustice was this bad to where decades of it go on I feel extremely vulnerable to this and feel like the people and families who make the decision to work at this maquiladoras need to stop because their life isnt worth it.

I would say do not let the fact that you are a U.S. citizen be too comforting. We are training (School of the Americas) one of the organizations suspected of these heinous crimes against people in general and women in particular. How long before the consequences of ignoring this school come home to roost? How can our failure to control criminal organizations not eventually impact Americans. It is, I fear, inevitable.

I cannot believe the Mexican Government has turn a blind eye to these murdered women, that in itself is a statement that of how degraded women in Mexico are. I am an American High Paid Educated Woman. I am familiar with the Latino culture, I have been to Juarez and have seen the crosses of these victims. This is unacceptable, no matter how you view women, any human being should never be threatened because they are trying to earn a living, I cannot believe they dont know who doing this and this remains a mystery.

This is not OK this is not acceptable, what you accept in your life remains in your life.

The message that is being sent by allowing these unsolved murders to continue is a very strong one on how women are viewed in their country. I am glad I live and am a United States Citizen where I can earn as much as I want and have access to education and was never taught to cook or clean because we had a house keeper do that for us. I am doing just fine as a women without those skills. And I am free to make decisions on my own without being harmed
