@jdclarkeoo

Thanks for those additional notes. A lot of the COHA stuff appears to be written by interns with no direct experience of the countries they write about. For example, each article on Guatemala has been demonstrably the work of somebody that has never lived here, perhaps never even visited.

I strongly doubt that many of them even have any Spanish language skills.

But the basic framework of their articles is often a useful starting point, nothing more.

You should do some serious fact checking on this article.

"This Sunday, he will be the only viable alternative to the Arias dynasty embodied by Chinchilla. " Says who, exactly? According to latest polls (even the one that's cited here!), he's in a statistical tie in 2nd place with Solís, who has been surging recently.

"He has run for president in the past and has a record of repeatedly coming in third." - He has ran twice before, in 2002 he came in third, in 2006 he came in SECOND, just 1% short of the winner, current President Oscar Arias. That's hardly a record of repeatedly coming in thid.

"CAFTA-DR, the free trade agreement between Costa Rica and a number of other Caribbean basin members" - CAFTA is an agreement between all these countries and the United States of America, not only amongst themselves.

"A native of Costa Rica, Zamora found that president Arias’ company, Grupo Sana," - This is probably just a typo, but it is Grupo Sama.
