As for the people criticizing the piece in Honduras, I am afraid, they are being paid by or are members of the oligarchy in Honduras, work for the military=death squads, otherwise, I am schocked about their ignorance about the human rights abuses in Honduras. Just a few days ago, in February, Claudia Brizuela Rodriguez, the daughter of a prominent opposition leader and Radio Uno Host, Pedro Brizuela, was gunned down in front of her two young children 2 & 8 years old. Union member+getting shot does not equal government involvement. Christ, a guy I know got kidnapped by armed gunmen and dumped naked in a parking lot at 3 a.m. AND HE'S A UNION MEMBER!1!!!! Oh no! The government's behind it! Or maybe they just wanted his car. Or maybe he sold drugs on the side and got capped. Or maybe he just pissed off the wrong person. You can get murdered for very little reason in Honduras, we're just a violent country. And to Jason Kennedy: We both know being democratically elected does not give you the mandate to flout constitutional law, such as going outside legal means to reform a constitution.
