For our capitalistic society to succeed, Americans are forbidden to save and forced to spend, thereby acquiring more debt and becoming slaves to the system. Capitalism despises saving. There is nothing Obama can do about China's involvement in the Hemispere. China has the U.S. in a check-mate position because of all our debt so until we start investing in our own counry, China will continue to do what it wants without any opposition from Obama.
